The 19th Days of Special and Academic Libraries will step forward toward green and digital practices, in accordance with the recommendations of the European Commission and our library community.
Let’s respect our green and digital environment:
- Badges will include the conference program overview as well as QR codes for easy and quick access to abstracts of all presentations, round tables, workshops, and posters.
- The badge ribbons and plastic holders are not biodegradable, so we kindly ask you to deposit them in a designated box placed at the registration desk when leaving the conference (you may keep the program with your name).
- The abstract collection will be available online on the conference website (accessible via the website or QR code – no printing – zero waste).
- Proceedings from previous conferences — the 16th, 17th, and 18th Days — will be accessible online in open access.
Instructions:
- Volunteers will be available at the registration desk in front of the halls on level -2 of Hotel Excelsior throughout the conference day to answer your questions.
- Upon registration, you will receive your badges, and via QR codes you will be able to access all conference content on the website.
- Photos from the event will be shared on HKD’s social media and the conference website so you can follow the conference developments.
- Coffee breaks are scheduled in the program; you can plan your breaks accordingly.
- Sponsors will be available in the area in front of the halls for meetings and discussions.
- Online registration will be enabled for all workshops, and the exact number of participants will be controlled.
- The welcome cocktail will be served in the lobby of Hotel Excelsior, at the bar to the left of the hotel entrance.
- The gala dinner will be held in the hotel’s ballroom; take the elevator to the left of the entrance, on level -1.
- An excursion is planned for Saturday, departing at 10:00 AM in front of the hotel.
We wish you all a pleasant and successful stay!
