{"id":739,"date":"2023-03-09T20:36:28","date_gmt":"2023-03-09T19:36:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/svk.hkdrustvo.hr\/?page_id=739"},"modified":"2025-11-19T13:55:54","modified_gmt":"2025-11-19T12:55:54","slug":"practical-information","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/svk.hkdrustvo.hr\/?page_id=739","title":{"rendered":"Practical Information"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>The 19th Days of Special and Academic Libraries<\/strong> will step forward toward green and digital practices, in accordance with the recommendations of the European Commission and our library community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Let\u2019s respect our green and digital environment:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Badges will include the conference program overview as well as QR codes for easy and quick access to abstracts of all presentations, round tables, workshops, and posters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The badge ribbons and plastic holders are not biodegradable, so we kindly ask you to deposit them in a designated box placed at the registration desk when leaving the conference (you may keep the program with your name).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The abstract collection will be available online on the conference website (accessible via the website or QR code \u2013 no printing \u2013 zero waste).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proceedings from previous conferences \u2014 the 16th, 17th, and 18th Days \u2014 will be accessible online in open access.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Volunteers will be available at the registration desk in front of the halls on level -2 of Hotel Excelsior throughout the conference day to answer your questions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Upon registration, you will receive your badges, and via QR codes you will be able to access all conference content on the website.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Photos from the event will be shared on HKD\u2019s social media and the conference website so you can follow the conference developments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coffee breaks are scheduled in the program; you can plan your breaks accordingly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sponsors will be available in the area in front of the halls for meetings and discussions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Online registration will be enabled for all workshops, and the exact number of participants will be controlled.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All other information is avaliable at the registration desk. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We wish you all a pleasant and successful stay!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 19th Days of Special and Academic Libraries will step forward toward green and digital practices, in accordance with the recommendations of the European Commission and our library community.
