Prof. Mihaela Banek Zorica, PhD (University of Zagreb, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences<\/em>)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is a full professor in permanent appointment at the Department of Information and Communication Sciences, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Zagreb and Head of the Department of Media and Communication. At the undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate levels, she teaches courses that are also at the heart of her scientific Interests: e-learning, information and media literacy, school libraries, and knowledge organization and management. In her teaching, she focuses particularly on the development of teaching materials for e-learning systems and on building the competences necessary for teaching in a digital environment. She has confirmed her knowledge and experience in the field of e-learning and media use by participating in several international projects. During her scientific work, she has participated in numerous national and international conferences as an author, reviewer, and member of organizing and program committees. She actively contributes to the professional community through her work in national and international bodies, especially in the field of school librarianship.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Prof. Ivana Kunda, PhD (University of Rijeka<\/strong>, Faculty of Law)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is a full-time tenured professor and the Head of the Department of Private International and European Law at the Faculty of Law in Rijeka, as well as the Vice-Dean for Research at the same Faculty. She earned her doctorate at the Faculty of Law in Zagreb and continued her professional development abroad, including at the Max-Planck-Institut f\u00fcr Immaterialg\u00fcter- und Wettbewerbsrecht u Minhenu and the University of Columbia in New Yorku where she resided as Fulbright Research Fellow. She has participated as a researcher and\/or head of a faculty research group in ten projects from the line EU Justice which is financed by the European Commission, as well as on several other domestic and international scientific and scientific-professional projects. In 2023, she was a member of the Working Group of the Government of the Republic of Croatia responsible for the preparation of an expert opinion regarding the legal effects of the judgment of the Supreme Court ruling regarding contracts between the Republic of Croatia and MOL Hungarian Oil and Gas Company PLC, which were found to have been concluded on the basis of corrupt practices. For the needs of the business sector, she prepares legal opinions in various areas of European and international private law. As a member of the Government\u2019s working group, she took part in drafting two laws. At the Judicial Academy, she participated in training judges in the field of European law, and she also lectures at international courses organized by the EJTN in Brussels and ERA in Trier. She passed the bar exam in 2024 and has been on the list of arbitrators and mediators of the Croatian Chamber of Economy\u2019s Permanent Arbitration Court for many years.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Margo Bargheer (University Library<\/strong> of G\u00f6ttingen) <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is a trained graphic designer and holds a master degree in social anthropology and media studies. She is head of the team for electronic publishing at G\u00f6ttingen University Library, including G\u00f6ttingen University Press, the university\u2018s repositories, the Diamond open access journal platform and other services around scholarly communication. She and her team coordinate the CRAFT-OA project, other team members are involved in the DIAMAS and PALOMERA projects and in the German information platform open-access.network. Margo heads the AEUP board and is part of the German working group\u2018s sounding board for university presses.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
